Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box chocolate cake mix
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 large bag caramels
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix cake according to directions on box.
    Pour one half the batter into greased, floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake 15 to 20 minutes (until set).
    Melt caramels in heavy pan in 2 tablespoons milk.
    Pour mixture over baked cake; sprinkle with chips and nuts. Pour remaining batter overall. Return to oven for about 15 minutes more.
