Ingredients

2 c. cooked rice
2 1/2 c. milk
2 large eggs or 3 small eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation

Heat milk and add cooked rice.
Beat eggs, and add sugar, vanilla and raisins.
Combine with rice and milk mixture.
Pour in baking dish and dot with margarine.
Set dish in pan of hot water.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Lower heat to 300\u00b0 and bake until custard is firm (about 15 to 20 minutes).
Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
Serves 8 to 10.
