Fresh Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped apples
1/3 c. nuts
Preparation

Cream shortening; add sugar and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add apples and nuts and mix well.
Bake in 9-inch square pan in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
(Batter will be very stiff.)
