Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced strawberries
    2/3 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/3 c. water
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    halved or quartered strawberries
Preparation
    Boil sliced strawberries and 2/3 cup water for 3 minutes.
    Mix together sugar, cornstarch and 1/3 cup water.
    Add to strawberries and bring to a boil again.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Set aside.
    Fill pie shell with halved or quartered strawberries.
    Pour filling over berries.
    Cool in refrigerator 1 hour.
    Top with whipped cream or whipped topping.
    Serve.
