Fiesta Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 (3 1/2 c. size) tomatoes
    1 can corn, drained (2 1/2 c.)
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 can pitted, ripe olives, drained
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
    1/2 minced red and green bell pepper (each)
Preparation
    Saute onion in 3 tablespoons butter and 3 tablespoons oil until soft.
    Add beef and brown.
    Add tomatoes, corn and seasonings. Pour into 13 x 9-inch dish.
    Press olives into mixture.
    Mix corn meal, milk and eggs.
    Spread over meat mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serves 8 to 10.
