Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. Karo
    pinch of salt
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans, toasted
    1/2 c. crystallized cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Make 1 batch of fudge and spread on wax paper or buttered tin. Make 1 batch divinity and spread on top.
    Make another batch of fudge and put on top.
    Cut into squares.
    Store in tins.
