Seafood Gumbo(Serves 8 To 10) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 clove garlic, minced
    6 green onions, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    3 Tbsp. corn oil
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. okra (frozen, sliced)
    2 (1 lb.) cans tomatoes, drained
    3 c. water
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 drops Tabasco sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 c. rice (uncooked)
    1 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1/2 lb. crabmeat
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 tsp. file powder
Preparation
    In Dutch oven saute garlic, onions and bell pepper in oil. Add okra, tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, Tabasco sauce, bay leaf and rice; bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add shrimp (chopped) to Dutch oven; stir.
    Return to boil, cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
    Add crabmeat and parsley to shrimp mixture. Simmer for 2 minutes.
    Stir in file powder.
    Ladle gumbo into bowls; stir gently to mix all ingredients.
    Serve with extra boiled rice.
