Ingredients

2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 cans evaporated milk
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 qt. half and half
1 pt. whipping cream
add whole milk until ice cream container is full
Preparation

Beat sugar and eggs together until blended.
Add evaporated milk, salt and vanilla.
Mix well.
Slowly add half and half and whipping cream.
Pour into ice cream container.
Add whole milk if necessary to fill to line.
Best if chilled a few hours or overnight.
Put in ice cream mixer (hand turned like the one I used as a kid or electric if you don't want to have as much fun).
