Teriyaki Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. sherry (optional)
    1 clove garlic, crushed, or garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. sesame seed (optional: use scallion or sesame oil)
Preparation
    Combine ingredients and marinate meat overnight, or marinate 2 to 3 hours before cooking.
    Broil or stove-top grill or use on outdoor grill.
    Turn once.
    This sauce is good for 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of meat.
    This sauce may be used for marinating steaks, chicken, pork or fish.
