Cream Of Chicken Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. chicken broth
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 onion, cut in half
    1 stalk celery, cut in half
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. minced cooked chicken
    dash of garlic powder
    1 egg yolk
    1/3 c. dry sherry
    whipped cream (optional)
    paprika (optional)
Preparation
    Mix butter and flour in skillet over low heat.
    Stir until smooth and bubbling.
    Add broth, salt, onion and celery.
    Stir until creamy.
    Cover; cook over low heat for 15 minutes.
    Stir to prevent lumping.
    Strain liquid into pot.
    Add milk, chicken and garlic powder; cook until creamy.
    Stir in sherry.
    Do not boil after egg and wine have been added.
