Creamy Seafood Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. finely chopped ham
    1/2 c. chopped carrots
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 1/4 c. water
    2 c. milk
    1 (6.2 oz.) pkg. Farmhouse Shells & White Cheddar Pasta and Sauce
    1 (10 oz.) can baby clams, undrained
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan saut onion, celery, ham, carrots and thyme in butter until vegetables are tender. Add water, pasta and contents of seasoning packet; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 12 minutes, stirring often. Add clams and simmer 2 to 3 minutes longer. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
