Soda Cracker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    32 crackers, crushed
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. chopped pecans
    Cool Whip
    crushed pineapple
    coconut (optional)
Preparation
    Gradually add sugar to beaten egg whites.
    Fold in crackers and pecans.
    Spoon into a buttered deep pie pan.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven until golden brown.
    Cool.
    Top with Cool Whip.
    Spoon drained crushed pineapple on Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle with coconut (optional).
