Microwave Tostado Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, grated
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/4 c. water
    2 tsp. chili powder
    1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, diced
    1/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. taco shells
Preparation
    In a 2-quart bowl, mix ground beef and onion.
    Cover bowl with wax paper.
    Cook at High power 4 to 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
    Tilt bowl to remove fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, water and chili powder; cover and cook at High power for 4 minutes, or until mixture thickens, stirring after 2 minutes.
    Stir in undrained green chilies and shredded cheese.
