Grandpa'S Mustard Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whipping cream
    1 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
    3 to 4 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 egg yolks
    1/3 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Mix first five ingredients.
    (Make a paste of cream, flour and mustard to lessen lumps.)
    Cook slowly in double boiler*, stirring until thick, adding vinegar a little at a time.
    Great on ham, macaroni and cheese, green beans or even an omelet.
