Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 egg
1 1/2 c. light corn syrup
3 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Reserve 2/3 cup cake mix.
In large bowl, combine dry cake mix, butter and one egg.
Mix this until crumbly.
Press into pan with floured fingers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Mix reserved cake mix with brown sugar, syrup, vanilla and 3 eggs. Pour over baked crust and sprinkle with pecans.
Return to oven and bake 30 minutes more or until filling is set.
Cool and cut into bars.
