Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. cooked mashed sweet potatoes
    4 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening.
    Blend in sweet potatoes.
    Add enough milk to make a soft dough (this will depend on moisture in potatoes).
    Knead lightly.
    Roll 3/4-inch thick on lightly floured board.
    Cut with floured 2-inch cutters. Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) on ungreased baking sheet for 20 minutes or until brown.
    Makes about 15 biscuits.
