Ingredients

1 prepared Devil's Food cake (9 x 12 pan)
1 container ready made chocolate frosting, any kind
1 large Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation

Divide cooled cake into 3 sections. Crumble with hand 1/3 of cake into a trifle dish or other deep glass dish. Heat opened container of frosting for about one minute or until pourable. Pour 1/3 of frosting over cake layer. Spoon 1/3 cool whip over that layer. Layer cake, frosting, and cool whip, ending with cool whip on top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
