Chicken Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. or so cooked, cubed chicken
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 c. peas
    1 tsp. salt
    pinch of pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. water
    1 can chicken rice or cream of chicken soup
Preparation
    Brown chicken, onion and celery in the shortening.
    Add rice, salt, pepper, chicken broth, water and soup.
    Mix together.
    Bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 325\u00b0.
