Lemon Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    3 lemons, grate the rind of 1 lemon and reserve and squeeze the juice from the 3 lemons and reserve
Preparation
    Beat eggs; add sugar and flour and beat again.
    Have butter at room temperature and add butter; beat again.
    Add reserved lemon juice and rind.
    Stir in; do not beat.
    Cook in a double boiler until frosting thickens.
    Stir frequently.
    Let cool.
