Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. cream
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
flour for stiff dough
Preparation

Beat together the sugar, eggs, cream, milk and vanilla.
Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight.
Cover top with waxed paper.
Fry in shortening as any other donut.
