Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. or more pork roast, cut in 1-inch pieces
2 Tbsp. fat
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 to 1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. thinly sliced onion
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pineapple juice
3/4 c. thinly sliced bell pepper
1 (No. 2) can chunk pineapple
Preparation

Brown pork in fat; add water, cover and simmer 1 hour. Combine cornstarch, salt, brown sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce.
Cook until slightly thick, stirring constantly. Pour sauce over hot pork.
Let stand 10 minutes and add green peppers, onions and pineapple chunks.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes longer.
Be sure pepper and onion is just tender-crisp.
