Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. canned cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cook sugar, cream and salt to soft ball stage (236\u00b0), stirring to keep from burning.
    Add butter, pecans and vanilla.
    Beat until stiff.
    Drop on wax paper by spoonfuls.
