Buttercream Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    4 c. confectioners sugar
    2 to 3 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, mix margarine, shortening and vanilla. At medium speed, mix in sugar.
    Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
    For truly white frosting, use 1 cup shortening instead of margarine and clear vanilla.
    Great for cake decorating or sugar cookies.
