Sarena'S Spiced Acorn Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size acorn squash
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. grated cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/2 c. dark brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg
    8 Tbsp. melted butter
    8 1/2-inch pieces bacon
    2 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut each squash in half and with a teaspoon, scrape out the seed and fibers.
    In a small bowl combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt and melted butter and stir them together thoroughly.
