Hawaiian Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    6 eggs
    4 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drain slightly
    1 can coconut
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar. Beat eggs, one at a time. Alternate milk and dry ingredients.
    Bake in large pound cake pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes.
    (Sift all-purpose flour 3 times to equal cake flour.)
