Raisin Crisscross Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. milk
3/4 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar and egg.
Add flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir in raisins.
Roll into balls the size of walnut. Place balls about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork dipped in flour, making a crisscrossed pattern. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
Makes 3 dozen cookies.
