Divinity Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2/3 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook sugar, syrup and water over medium heat (using heavy saucepan) to hard-ball stage.
    In the meantime, beat egg whites and salt until stiff but still glossy.
    Pour syrup into egg white mixture in thin stream while beating until mixture begins to lose its gloss.
    Add vanilla and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.
