Beet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 cups sugar
2 cups water
2 cups vinegar
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
-
Cook beets till tender.
Slip skins by putting in cold water. Cut to size desired and put into boiling brine mixture.
Return to boil.
Put into sterilized jars and seal.
