Stuffed Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 large cabbage leaves
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    2 1/2 c. tomatoes
Preparation
    Cook cabbage leaves in boiling water in saucepan for 5 minutes; drain.
    Combine next 7 ingredients in bowl, mixing well. Shape into 8 rolls.
    Place on cabbage leaves, rolling to enclose filling.
    Place rolls on tomatoes in skillet.
    Simmer, covered, for 35 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
