Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. Crisco
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. white sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    6 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 can coconut
Preparation
    Mix sugar and shortening.
    Beat well.
    Add beaten eggs, flour and milk.
    Beat batter well; this is the secret to this cake. Stir in coconut.
    Bake in tube pan 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
