Frozen Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. pineapple juice
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    2 medium red apples, diced
    1 c. crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. English walnuts, broken
    1/2 pt. (1 c.) cream, whipped
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, pineapple juice, lemon juice and salt. Cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cool.
    Add celery, crushed pineapple, diced apples and nuts to custard mixture.
    Gently fold in whipped cream.
    Pour into container and freeze.
    Remove from freezer about 1/2 hour before serving.
    May be served on lettuce leaf.
