1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. flavoring
    1 c. milk
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until white.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time; beat after each.
    Sift baking powder in flour.
    Add milk, flavoring and flour alternately.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
