California Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. lemon juice
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 tsp. salt and freshly ground pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 tsp. curry powder
    1 clove garlic, cut in half
    1/2 to 1 head lettuce
    1 head romaine
    1 avocado, peeled and cubed
    sliced almonds
Preparation
    Put garlic pieces on toothpicks.
    Shake lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper, curry powder, mustard and garlic together in jar. Add avocado 1 hour before serving.
    Wash, dry and refrigerate greens.
    Break into pieces in bowl; toss with dressing.
    Sprinkle almonds on top.
    Serves 4 to 6.
    Can use any combinations of lettuce.
