Refrigerator Pickles(Canning) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. water
2 c. white vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. salt
4 hearts of garlic
4 pieces of dill
4 tsp. pickling spices
cucumbers
Preparation

To make brine, boil water, vinegar, sugar and salt; cool.
In a gallon jug (or 4 quart jars), put hearts of garlic, dill and spices.
Slice cucumbers lengthwise and fill jug or jars.
Pour brine into jug or jars; let stand for 24 hours.
Refrigerate.
