Fried Clams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. sweet milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 pt. clams
Preparation
    Mix together well. Dip clams in batter; fry in hot deep fat until golden brown. Drain.
