Boston Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (15 oz.) box raisins
    3 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. margarine
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    4 tsp. baking soda
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    In a saucepan cover raisins with water and bring to a boil. Set aside to cool.
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Beat in eggs and vanilla.
