Jettie'S Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 lb. dates, cut up
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 lb. candied cherries, cut in halves
    1/4 lb. candied pineapple, cut up
    1 c. freshly grated coconut (frozen may be used)
    1 1/2 c. pecans, cut in small pieces
    1 1/2 c. walnuts, cut in small pieces
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to fruit and nuts; mix well.
    Beat eggs well.
    Add sugar and extract.
    Add fruit and nuts to egg mixture; mix well.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Let cool in pan before removing.
    Let mellow a few days.
    It is delicious.
