Icebox Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. nuts, cut fine
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 eggs
    1 c. butter
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter and eggs well.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Make 2 balls.
    Place in the refrigerator until needed.
    Slice 1/8-inch thick and bake in slow oven.
