Lancashire Hot Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lamb chops
    1 Tbsp. flour
    4 onions, sliced
    8 oz. carrots, sliced
    1 1/2 lb. potatoes, sliced
    2 c. beef stock
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Trim fat from chops and roll in flour.
    Place layer of chops, then onions, carrots and potatoes in large casserole, seasoning each layer lightly with salt and pepper.
    Finish with potatoes. Pour stock over.
    Cover.
