Peach Praline Shortcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    1 c. sour cream
    4 c. sliced fresh peaches (sweetened)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Grease round layer pan.
    Measure flour, baking powder, salt and soda into bowl.
    Cut in mixture 1/2 cup brown sugar and shortening until mixture looks like meal.
    Stir in pecans.
    Combine egg and milk.
    Blend into flour mixture.
    Put into pan.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
    Split cake while warm.
    Fill and top with peaches.
    Blend sour cream and 1/2 cup brown sugar.
    Serve with shortcake.
