Fig Ambrosia - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh unpeeled figs, stemmed and sliced
    1 (15 oz.) can mandarins with packing syrup
    5 Tbsp. finely grated unsweetened coconut
    5 Tbsp. mandarin juice
    1 tsp. mandarin peel in syrup
    1 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Gently mix together figs, mandarins and coconut.
    Add mandarin juice, peel and sugar.
    Chill.
    This must be served the same day it is prepared.
    Serves 4.
