Miss Sue'S Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/4 c. water
1 c. self-rising flour
3 c. quick-cook oats
Preparation

Cream together the first six ingredients.
Mix in flour.
Stir in oats.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking pan.
Cook 7 to 8 minutes (cookies won't appear done).
Remove from oven and let cool before removing from pan.
