Maxine Benold'S Chocolate Cream Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chocolate wafer or graham cracker crust
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 egg yolks
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, melted
    2 egg whites
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. thawed whipped topping
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and vanilla and beat until smooth.
    Add egg yolks, beating until smooth and creamy.
    Stir in melted chocolate chips.
