Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. softened butter
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. water
2 eggs
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
Combine butter, sugar, vanilla and water.
Beat until creamy; beat in eggs.
Add flour mixture; mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
Drop by well-rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 8 to 9 dozen cookies.
