Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    25 oz. jar applesauce
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1/2 c. chopped pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Add all ingredients, except raisins and pecans, in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 in 13 x 9-inch cake pan for 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Serve plain or with icing.
