Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 c. ground squash
    4 chopped green pepper
    4 c. ground onion
    2 large jar pimentos
    5 Tbsp. pickling salt
    2 c. white vinegar
    6 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. turmeric
    2 Tbsp. pickling spice (tie in a rag)
Preparation
    Mix squash, green peppers, onion, pimentos and pickling salt and let sit overnight, then drain and rinse in cold water.
    Bring 2nd part to a boil and add the 1st part.
    Boil 30 minutes.
    Stir often.
    Place into jars and seal.
