Baked Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large onions
    1 1/2 c. fine, dry bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 egg (used as a binder, no substitutes)
Preparation
    Slice onions about 1/4-inch thick.
    Separate into rings.
    Soak in cold, salted water for 30 minutes.
    Drain on paper towels.
