Sugarless Fruit Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dates
    1 c. prunes, cut in small pieces
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. water
    1 stick of margarine
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda (with 1/4 c. cold water)
    1 c. flour
Preparation
    Boil fruit in water for 5 minutes. Add 1 stick of margarine to fruit and set aside to cool. Mix remaining ingredients to make a batter. Add fruit mixture to batter and bake in a 9 x 13 pan for 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
