Swiss Alpine Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

10 inch pastry shell, unbaked
1 pkg frozen broccoli, cooked
2 c pre-cooked 1/2 inch ham cubes
2 c shredded Swiss cheese
3 Tbsp chopped onion
1 1/2 c milk, scalded
3 eggs slightly beaten
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Drain and chop broccoli. Layer broccoli, ham, cheese in pastry shell. Sprinkle onion over top. Stir milk into eggs; add seasonings and pour into pastry shell. Bake 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake another 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
