Supreme Pork Chops And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lean pork chops, 1/2-inch thick
    1 envelope dried onion soup
    1/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 small can (2/3 c.) Pet evaporated milk
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. dried parsley
    3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Brown pork chops on both sides in oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, drain fat.
    Stir in water, celery and soup mix. Cover; cook over low heat 30 minutes or until chops are tender. Take skillet off heat.
    Move chops to one side.
    Mix together mushrooms and flour.
    Stir flour-mushroom mixture, parsley flakes and evaporated milk into skillet.
    Stir over low heat until steaming.
    Do not boil.
    Serve over hot rice.
    Serves 4.
